Hi lovelies!
I hope you had the best week EVER. My week kinda sucked…lots of work and not enough play…but the weather sort of made up for it. Sort of.
I did find this week, however, a really fun and cute new idea for the blog that Emily does over at Cupcakes and Cashmere, one of my favorite blogs to keep up with! She, every Friday, compiles her work outfits from the week (granted she doesn’t work in a corporate office, so she can have a little more fun with her outfits) but I thought it might be a fun and also challenging idea to adopt for myself. I plan to post at least one of these types of weekly outfit lookbook-style blogs once a month probably, on a Saturday or Sunday, so be on the lookout for those to come in the upcoming months!
Monday
Mondays around the office, everyone is still not in a great mood and still getting used to being back for a new week, so my style tends to lean more toward the safe side. You never can go wrong with a shirt/sweater to go over a pencil dress. It’s extremely comfortable and fits the bill perfectly for easing into a new work week in style.

Tuesday
Tuesdays are usually pretty busy for us so I always know I’m going to be out and about in the building most this day so I am always sure to dress a little bit more office-esque, just in case I run into anyone important!
(Similar Shawl: Forever 21; This shirt is very old but I will link the closest thing I can find here ; Skirt: Loft ; Shoes: Forever 21)
Wednesday
Wednesdays are pretty low key in our area of the office so I do a little less business-y look usually, as long as I don’t have anything important going on during the day.
(This whole outfit is practically my “on sale at Anthro” outfit..and y’all, right now everything on sale is an extra 25% off, so check out what they’ve got! Shirt: Anthropologie; Skirt: Anthropologie ; Shoes: Free People (expensive but worth the buy!); Similar Necklace: Loft.)
Thursday
Thursdays, like Wednesdays, are pretty slow so I can have a little more fun with my outfit, as long as it is still comfortable and workable. This is a new favorite of mine, combining the essential black trouser with a more fun top to make it a little less prim & proper.
(Shirt: Free People; Pants: Anthropologie *if you are a working professional SERIOUSLY BUY THESE PANTS. They are the best and comfiest and they aren’t super expensive. They’re honestly perfect*; Shoes: DSW)
Friday
We made it to casual Friday!! *Party emoji* Fridays are, to be frank, our craziest and busiest day of the whole week, so although the rest of our office is relaxing a bit in the few hours before the weekend, we are usually just trying to keep up! I am always sure to wear something extra comfy these days, to ensure I’m not uncomfortable or having to fidget with my outfit throughout the day.
(This shirt is last season Anthro but I’ll link something similar here; BDG Jeans: Urban Outfitters; Similar Boots: Forever 21)
There you are sweet friends, my outfits from this past week….all in a days work 😉
