Hi lovelies!
I hope you’re having a great Saturday thus far. I started out this post with the idea of writing about what a typical day in the life of Bri looks like, but truthfully, I just work, eat, sleep, and exercise/see people sometimes…so upon realizing that I am quite boring, I decided to take it another direction and write about what I do on a typical Saturday morning every week. I usually do something a little more fun on the weekend than just get out of bed and put on clothes and eat a little food and make coffee and then go to work, like I do during the week…so here goes, my Saturday morning routine:
8:00 A.M.
Time to wake up! I have always been a morning person but this has been even more of the case ever since starting to work full time…I honestly cannot sleep past 8, unless I’m sick or something abnormal like that. Truthfully, I feel AWESOME when I sleep in this late because during the week I don’t sleep past 6:30 on any given day; so the extra time is always very much appreciated. Plus I think the added pressure of needing to be somewhere at a certain time during the week, makes this part of the morning much less enjoyable and relaxing; so I usually camp out in bed for awhile and relish in the fact that I have nowhere to be on Saturday mornings.
8:15-10 A.M.
Now that I am up and around, I usually head downstairs, still rocking my PJ’s, and make up a cup of hot coffee. By this point in the morning,  my parents are already up and around and about ready to head off to the local farmer’s market; some weeks I tag along, most weeks I choose to just sit outside on our deck with my puppy and read my Bible or just listen to the beauty of nature as I sip my coffee. Once my sister wakes up, we make our traditional Saturday morning pancakes, that always conveniently get done right when my parents get home from the market. We all then sit and chat about the last week of our lives while we enjoy our coffee & pancakes & one another’s company 🙂 I love this part of the day!
10-10:30 A.M.
On Saturdays, as you all know, I have a post that goes up on this site! I always try to write it beforehand and schedule it to go up at 10 (or 9, like today) depending on what I have going on. Once the post is up, I usually spend the next half hour getting it posted and updated on all of my social media sites (shameless plug here but if you want those updates you should check me out on Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest 😉 )
10:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M.
It is usually at this point in the morning that I am ready to get up and get moving; the coffee has finally kicked in and I’m ready to sweat a little. This is often the time of the day that I schedule hikes around Radnor lake, or go for a quick run (esp. in the summer–before it gets too hot) or just work out on my stationary bike at my house. This is the final step of my morning that really gets me ready to take on the day. Ending my morning with exercise leaves me excited, awake, and motivated throughout the rest of Saturday afternoon.
After my workout, this is the time of the day that I do finally put on some clothes and usually get ready for whatever afternoon plans I have scheduled, usually things like lunch or coffee dates with friends or exploring a new area of the city with Curtis.

I Love hitting a market at the weekends! Its our fav weekend thing to do!! Sadly we don’t have a deck but if we did I’d be glued to it to 🙂 xx
