What I Wore To Work This Week: The First Week of Fall

Hi lovelies!

Happy second day of (official) fall! Although down here in the 615, it feels NOTHING like fall….it’s still just about 85 degrees every day and can I just say, I am SO ready for it to cool off a bit! Now don’t get me wrong, I love summer and everything but fall is just such a sweet time of the year and being in the South, we don’t get a long one, so I want to enjoy it while I’ve got it….once it finally decides to get here!

Anywhoos, it’s the fun time of the month where I get to stand in front of the same mirror 5 days in a row and show you what I’ve been sporting to work this past week….so let’s get to it!

Monday

Happy Monday pals! Today’s outfit was a mix of vintage school teacher and something my mom said “looks like something I would have worn in the 4th grade…” so, take that as you will. I personally liked the style of making my dress more like a jumper than just doing the traditional dress and cardigan style, like is more often seen in the workplace.

Tuesday

Tuesday was a  pretty relaxing day around the office and I LOVED the coziness of this outfit. This cardigan is what dreams are made of, y’all, let me just tell you. I did feel a little bit like a tiny rain cloud in this outfit….but at least I was a cozy rain cloud… 😀

Wednesday

I actually had this Wednesday off, so that’s the only reason there is no picture included here. I don’t think you really want to see my t-shirt & yoga pants style for my 12 doctor appointments today….but then again, if I am wrong in assuming that, please let me know 😛

Thursday

Thursday was again kind of chill around the office. I definitely stayed busy, but that was just because I was doing a little catch-up from missing Wednesday. It was SO warm outside, so I made sure my outfit leaned a little more toward comfortably fitting for a warm summer day, rather than the first week of fall….like I would like to be dressing for!

Friday

Friday has started to become (somehow?!) our slowest day of the week. A lot of our work has been shifted around in the last few weeks, to different days, so we really don’t have much of anything, but a few little projects to accomplish before the end of the day on Friday. I still TOTALLY took advantage of the casual dress today to accompany my chill workload and I loved every second of it.

Now that I’m looking at these pictures, I’m laughing at how drab I dressed this week. Literally just grays and blacks and whites all week long….OOPS. I’ll try to do better next month, y’all, I’m so sorry! Haha!
