Hi lovelies!
Happy October!! *insert spooky ghost noises*
I hope the first few days of this new month have treated you well. It FINALLY felt a little bit like autumn outside this past weekend and I am just as giddy as can be because y’all know I love this weather….so so so much!
I thought it might be kind of fun to walk you through everything I did this past Saturday because it really was chalk-full of fall fashion/activities/foods/etc. and I loved every second of it.
//
Saturday morning I woke up around 7:30 a.m. and headed out to The Woodhouse Day Spa, for a Swedish Massage, to start my morning. Let me first say, there is NOTHING better than starting a slow Saturday than with a massage.
I then came home and enjoyed a cup of coffee in bed and then a few banana pancakes (with cinnamon and flax & sunflower seeds) out on the back porch with my family.
Upon the completion of breakfast, I showered and then got all my social media platforms updated with my newest post (September Favorites). Then, around 1 p.m. Curtis got off of work and headed out to my home so we could go explore Nolensville!
I very rarely ever get out to Nolensville, even though it’s pretty much the next town over from where I live and y’all can I just say, it was SO DANG PRETTY. It was a beautiful area full of farmland and open fields and fresh air, and a whole bunch of cutie cows and horses.
We started out the afternoon adventure driving out to Morning Glory Orchard….which we loved. Although, we weren’t really able to pick much, since these trees are still mostly baby trees. I still loved this place and once the orchard is more mature, I think going here in the early fall on a cute apple picking date will 100% be in order!

(My Outfit: Top: Vintage top I stole from my mom’s closet…similar here; Similar High-Waist Pants: Urban Outfitters; Denim Jacket: Urban Outfitters; Slides: DSW–on sale!)
As you can see, I got a few granny smith apples…my favorites! Curtis also bought some peach & blackberry cider from here and you guys, again, SO GOOD. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed my time here, even though I was a little sad that we couldn’t actually pick.
Once we left the orchard, we spent the next couple hours just driving around Nolensville, the Arrington area, and then up into Antioch and the downtown Nashville area. It was so nice to just spend some time together, with nothing but open roads and fresh air around us and truly with nowhere to be but exactly where we were.
We wound up driving to downtown Franklin and walked around outside, along the square for an hour or so, sipping on our fallish drinks and enjoying the lovely chilly late-afternoon weather.
Finally, we decided to head back to my home. Once there, we just hung around, drank some fresh cider with our dinner, and just enjoyed a little family time.
It really was the most fallish and lovely day š

I don’t know if this was intentional or not but the title of this blog reminded me of “All the Small Things” by Blink-182 and I just thought that was a great reference lol
