Hi lovelies!
Happy Tuesday!
I hope y’all are having a lovely start to the week and finding a moment of rest in the craziness of our world these days. As you all know, I find my rest in writing many times, which is why I wanted to do this fun little post for you all!
If any of you live in Nashville, these are some of the best places around town to check out/things to do during these colder months for a fun and festive date activity with your boo thang.
If you don’t live in Nashville, I still feel as though these activities go on in just about every town around the country, so I’m sure they will be fairly easy to make happen, wherever you are!
-
Pick pumpkins/apples from your local farms/orchards. As mentioned before in a previous post, I went to Morning Glory Orchard here in Middle TN and have also gone to get pumpkins from Green Door Gourmet. We have loved both!
-
Go to a fall festival in your area! Most weekends in September and October there is something going on…here are a few of my favorites that are coming up in the Nashville area! Boo at the Zoo, Cheekwood Harvest, Nashville Flea Market Fall Fest, and finally Franklin’s PumpkinFest!
-
Grab an autumnal beer/do a beer tour. Nothing says fall quite like a good, crisp cider or a nutty ale. Yazoo Brewing Co. does tours all week long that I’d love to try out this fall season!
-
Franklin Art Crawl! This is an event that happens the first Friday of every month throughout the year. I have yet to do this….but from what I have been told, it is so much fun! Wine + art would make for a happy me in any situation, ever, but especially on a chilly fall evening. Nothing better!
-
Grab a festive doughnut from 5 Daughter’s Bakery…they just debuted their fall flavors; you can check them out here!
-
Hike around Radnor Lake! Radnor is one of the prettiest places for an early morning hike or to take some cute photos for your Instagram (isn’t that the reason we all hike, anyway?) Which will lead me into date idea #7…
-
Have a Fall Photoshoot! Nashville is an area chock-full of creative individuals, so it’s quite easy to find people who won’t make you pay and arm and a leg to snap a few #relationshipgoals worthy photos as you play around in the leaves.
-
Grab a Pumpkin Spice Latte or some Apple Cider and head out to Gentry’s Farm’s corn maze!
-
Franklin Farmer’s Market. The farmer’s market happens every weekend throughout the whole year…but there’s nothing quite like a Saturday morning spent walking around the Factory in Franklin, sipping on some coffee and eating some homemade apple cider doughnuts. My only suggestion, to ensure a smooth-sailing market experience, is to make sure you bring some cash along with you; many of the vendors let you pay with cards but not all of them!
-
Go camping! Fall is the perfect time to book a long weekend getaway to the mountains. Chilly nights plus a fire and lots of snuggling…I’m not sure you could beat this date!
-
Spend a rainy fall day in the kitchen and bake a fall dessert together! I always think baking is such a fun collective activity that gets you and your someone special working together to make something yummy. My favorite go-to’s are apple crumble or a pumpkin pie. Paleo options for both, here and here.
-
Go visit a Haunted House in your area! If any of you know me, you know I will not be partaking in this activity haha but I know plenty of people who love watching scary movies or going to haunted houses because they enjoy the excuse to hold on tight to their sweeties. I can’t blame them for that!
What dates do you and your boo thang have planned for this fall season?!
ALSO
Am I missing any fun & festive date activities on this list?
Let me know in the comments below!
XOXO
