What I Wore To Work This Week: November Edition

Hi lovelies!

I hope you had the best holiday weekend and are adjusting back into the working grind better than I am haha.

I. AM. STRUGGLING.

But, getting to sit at work and write this post up for y’all is definitely helping me to get more excited about the rest of the week ahead & all the fun Christmas content I have planned coming to the blog ooohhh soo soon!!!

Before we can get there, though, let’s have a quick chat about what I wore to work this past week….well, the first 3 days of last week (pre-Thanksgiving) and then the first two days of this week; which I guess technically does make up a whole week, doesn’t it?

Anyways, let’s do it!

Monday 11/20

Monday was a pretty busy day, I think the excitement of knowing we were having a short week made this Monday feel a lot less terrible than usual. This outfit didn’t hurt one bit in terms of making my Monday a bit happier. I absolutely LOVE this sweater, as I’ve mentioned many a time before on here and just in life but the combo of it with this necklace, these glasses, and my navy pants just made me feel really put together and sunshine-y today and I loved every second of it!

Tuesday 11/21

Tuesday of this week was an exciting day, there was a lot of buzz around the office that we may be getting out of work a little early the following day, so everyone was simultaneously trying to not get TOO excited but also remain hopeful for the (potential) news we were to get. Any business owners needing a good motivator for their workers? Start rumors about them getting a day off soon, I know that kind of thing works WONDERS for me. But also, if you do that, actually give them time off sometimes so they don’t start to hate you #businessplanswithbri .

Wednesday 11/22

Wednesday of this week (the day before Thanksgiving) we were able to wear casual-wear around the office; so of course I took advantage of that….especially since I had just gotten this sweater in the mail earlier in the week and I had just been waiting for the moment that I could break it out and show it off! I got loads of compliments throughout the day (even though we only had to stay until noon!!! Best. Day. Ever.) and it really is the most cozy thing I have purchased this season. Also, how good is this color AND the back detailing?! I’m obsessed.

Monday 11/27

MONDAYS AFTER LONG WEEKENDS ARE THE WORST. Just wanted to throw that out there. Seriously, getting out of bed this morning was actually the worst thing. Thankfully on Mondays I work a little later than usual so I am not kidding when I say I literally laid in bed an extra 30 minutes and pouted because I didn’t want to wake up/go to work. I am a child, it’s fine. BUT on a happy note, I freaking loved this outfit. It was cozy and cute and actually looks much more polished for the amount of time it took me to put it together (aka about 5 minutes cuz when you lay in bed for an extra half hour, you wind up being a little late haha).

Tuesday 11/28

WOW I’M SO PALE. Okay, now that we’ve got that out of the way, Tuesday of this week was busy. It’s always usually pretty busy, just because Monday’s are a nice ease into the week but Tuesdays are very rarely as kind to us….it’s more of a kind slap in the face of the reality of the week ahead. The one plus? It was a beautiful day…hence the no tights!!! I’m a free woman! As you all know, if you’ve been keeping up with any of my other ‘What I Wore To Work’ posts, I love pairing dresses and sweaters and this was one I had never done before but since the sweater is so lightweight, it was perfect for this 60 degree day!

Real quick before I call it quits on this post, what are y’all’s thoughts on this new shooting location?

I think I like it better than just standing in front of a mirror and cutting off half of my face for most of the photos? Not sure.
