Hi lovelies!
How excited are you for Christmas in just a matter of HOURS?! AH. The anticipation gets me every year haha.
I am SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to bring y’all today’s post! This is one I’ve been working on throughout this whole month and even before this month came around, I have been waiting to be able to do this post because it really is a little piece of myself that not too many people know about, unless you know me (and see me often) but it’s a part of me that whenever people do find out, they just love….which is great because I also love it! Haha.
That little piece of me is that I love Christmas sweaters! Cute ones, ugly ones, and all the ones in between. Not only do I love them but I also have been collecting them since I was in middle school….and not only that but every year through high school, and college, and now into full-time employment 😉 I wear one sweater/Christmassy outfit every day in December leading up to Christmas to get myself (and everyone around me) in the festive mood!
This is just the first year that I’ve documented it……so let’s get to it, why don’t we?!
(Also sidenote, sorry some of these pictures are going to be a little faded/grainy…that’s what I get for working full time and taking these pictures during the only time I’m home and there’s available sunlight…aka like 6:45 A.M.)
December 1 – Happy Christmas!!!! The official kick off! 👏
December 2 – Festive pjs all day. Christmas movies/popcorn/lounging on the couch kinda day!
December 3 –Felt gross all day. AKA best day for a winter-themed onesie!
December 4 – Back to work we go! Actually felt a lot better today and am always excited to start off a new week with a Christmas vest!
December 5 – When it rains and the lighting is poop everywhere 👏 Sorry for my location change up….sometimes you just gotta do whatcha gotta do.
December 6 – Actually love what you can do with those sweaters from Goodwill! How cute is this one?!
December 7 – The sweater that started it all! This one has been in the family since 2001 and belongs to my mom…it was after I wore this one so many years ago that inspired me to keep collecting them to wear throughout the whole month of December!
December 8 – And just like that, week 1 is done! Happy Friday!

December 9 –Today was freezing…but we got the chance to walk in a Christmas parade with my dad’s work…which was SO fun. They encouraged your tackiest sweater, so of course we went all out (this sweater jingles haha)!
December 10 – Today is a day I look forward to all year! My sisters and I always bake up TONS of cookies for my dad to take to his office and to share with his colleagues. Truly, what describes a better day than Christmas attire (am I the Grinch yet?) & music on while baking cookies!?
December 11 – Back to work again! Everyone at work got so excited today realizing that this wasn’t just a one-week deal haha. Many of the women I work with have told me over the last week that at some point during each day they’re going to come find me, just to see my outfit for the day…haha so much fun!
December 12 -Today was not a great day for me. My sister and mom and boyfriend (!) all had had a pretty gnarly cold over the last couple of weeks…and I finally succumbed to it, so although I am all dressed and ready for work (I even went to work!), just know I am not feeling very well haha.
December 13 – Stayed home today….can you tell I’m sickly?! Haha. Also love the awkward I-really-don’t-want-to-be-doing-this-right-now-can-I-go-back-to-bed pose I’ve got going on right now 🤦🏼♀️ #dedication
December 14 – Back to work today! Still a little sickly unfortunately but definitely well enough to be at work for only one day before another break…and a long weekend! 😉 (This is one of the only sweaters available right now. Get your own here!)
December 15 – Another lovely day off wooohoo! Today consisted of a ton of errands, Christmas shopping, and ya know, just the general NOT BEING AT WORK stuff. I love days off. 😍
December 16 -Today was Curtis and I’s 2.5 year anniversary & our Christmas gift exchange, since he leaves to go home soon! He worked all morning so I stayed in this outfit all morning & then just added a pair of jeans for our evening of celebrations!
December 17 – Another PJ DAY WOOOOO! HAPPY SUNDAY. Not totally Christmassy but the polar bears still count, if you ask me!
December 18 – And back to work we go for the final week 😦 this is so fun…I don’t want to stop! This week also began all of the, “How many of those things do you have?!” comments around work. Haha. I love it.
December 19 – ALL HAIL THE CHRISTMAS BEARS! It’s time for their triumphant return. Now, you may argue that this isn’t technically Christmassy but hey, I make the rules here and I say it counts 😉
December 20 – Pretty sure this will forever and always be my favorite on the more tacky-side of these sweaters. It’s so freaking tacky and I love it! I also have a tendency to mindlessly pet myself during the day with this sweater on haha.
December 21 – The final Christmas vest of the year. I love the little snowflakey pattern on this one & how it also reminds me of something my dad would have worn in the 80’s. That’s how you know it’s a quality piece!
December 22 – The final sweater at work today! I figured I could go a little more tacky this week since everyone was in good pre-holiday spirits haha. Plus we got to leave early!!!! Heck yaaaaaa. (Another sweater available for purchase now here!)
December 23 – The final day….I’m so sad! But on the bright side, we get new Christmas PJ’s to add to the collection tomorrow; so I can keep this up for many years to come!
Can I just say, I had SO much fun doing this this month haha. I was SO excited for December to get here so I could do this post and I can honestly say that it did not disappoint one bit. Christmas attire is truly my love language–if that is even possible, I’m not sure anything makes me happier, especially this time of the year.

ALSO I’m going to be taking a bit of a hiatus the rest of the holiday weekend just to enjoy a little time off of work, with the fam. I’ll be back next week to chat a bit about what my weekend looked like and all the goodness we got into.
