Hi lovelies!
Happy Saturday!!
I hope you have plans to get outside a little bit today. Truthfully, last weekend I felt like crap most of the weekend, so I didn’t really get out to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather so I’m going to do my best to make up for that this weekend, even though it may have to be in between some rain clouds!
For today’s post, we’re going back to a favorite that y’all loved last year and one that I am going to continue into another year–my ‘What I Wore To Work This Week’ posts! For those of you that don’t know/are new around here, this is basically something I do at the end of each month to chronicle a week in my fashion journey while working in a corporate office. (I am probably going to be getting a new job this year sometime, though, so I’m not sure if I’ll just stop writing these posts then OR if I’ll just adapt them to be ‘What I Wore To My Non-Corporate Job This Week!’ haha. TBD).
But, without further ado (or more ramblings from me), here are my outfits from the last week of work:
Monday
Happy first day of the week! I think I’ve told y’all this before….about my obsession recently with wearing literally any lightweight sweater/shirt that I own and instead of layering it on top of my shift dresses, layering underneath! I LOVE the versatility and countless options I have in my closet when I do this! This is a really back-to-the-basics look–a classic striped sweater under a black shift dress; and I love it!

Tuesday
Because of bad weather in the South over the past couple of weeks, we have been encouraged to dress more “casually,” hence the reason I’m wearing jeans on a Tuesday haha. It sadly isn’t because I got a new job or had the day off lol. However, I loveeeee the combo of the black and the burgundy…I thought it might be too much “dark” but I actually thought they really complimented one another. Also, avocado socks make every outfit a win in my book. 😉

Wednesday
(The outfit I seriously wear all the time, no matter the season!)
I obviously have a thing for stripes here don’t I? Huh. Anyways, any day I get to wear my “fun pants” is a good day in my book. Wednesday this week was pretty slow, so having a pretty comfy outfit like this was the best to just cozy up in my chair in all day next to the space heater haha.

Thursday
Thursday’s look was a bit cozier and as you can tell by my face in these pictures, I surely wasn’t mad about it. I’ve always been mildly obsessed with the Peter Pan collar-look and so the idea of layering a top with that kind of collar underneath a more loose sweater is not a foreign one for me. I usually stick with my more neutral sweaters but I seriously LOVE the combo of this mauve-y one with the patterned look on the actual shirt. If you want to see a close up….check out the pictures on one of my last posts 🙂 I seriously loved this cozy Thursday look!

Friday
This is actually the happiest outfit haha. I usually stick to so many bland work-related colors…and even though this isn’t super vibrant or anything, it just felt fun and I loved it! Who said playing with neutrals can’t be fun?! Also no pictures from my normal location, just classy elevator pictures from work 😂
(Outfit Details: Similar Top: Forever 21; Jeans: Urban Outfitters; Similar Booties: DSW; Coat: Banana Republic; Similar Cowl Scarf: Etsy (alternate option, just try to knit it yourself!); Similar Ascot (worn as a hair-tie): Ralph Lauren)
Alright pals, that’s it–my outfits from this past week, all in a day’s work 😉
Let me know which look was your favorite in the comments below!
XOXO
