Hi lovelies!
I hope you’re having just a darn good Saturday. It’s been a pretty low-key one for me and you know I love that 🙂
I was looking through my posts and last year’s February outfit roundup was quite festive still but I wanted to switch things up a bit…and so, I decided to actually document Valentine’s week this year, instead of next week, to give in fully to the fun!
My idea this year was to have a few more subtle hints to dressing festively during this Valentine’s week….you know, not wearing a red dress and a pink cardigan with hearts coming out of my eyes. (IDK what kind of imagery I was going for there….but you get my point.)
So, check out my outfits below from this past week, all of which include a little pop of a festive color (pinks/reds), or a little lace action here and there; while still remaining corporate work-appropriate.
Monday
Loved kicking off this week in this pretty combo. Seriously obsessed with these pants, y’all…..ASOS, thank you for making the happiest & coziest work pants I’ve ever owned. Also, not to mention that since they’re this pretty light silver color, they’re literally going to match like everything I already have in my closet….SCORE.

Tuesday
I was feeling a bit under the weather at work today. Not sure if it was the change in the weather or I’m just fighting off a little something but my look today was focused WAY more on just being comfy (peep those fuzzy socks!) than on cute-ness…but I still love the subtle homage to the upcoming holiday with that pretty light pink top.

Wednesday — Happy Valentine’s Day!
Aaaaand I’m sick. Haha. I still decided to add some pictures here…because I can’t get over these PJ’s! So even though my V-day was semi-lame and spent entirely on the couch….at least I still looked festive 🙂

Thursday
Back to work we go! Still felt a little under par today but ya gotta do what ya gotta do! I cannot even begin to tell you the number of compliments I get on this skirt every stinkin’ time I wear it and I hate having to be like….”yeah…it’s Anthro from like last winter….so I have no clue where you can find anything like it….sorry…..” But nevertheless, I think the black lace is SUCH a romantically fun and festive idea, that a lot of people maybe don’t think to add when they’re putting together their Valentine’s wardrobe arsenal.

Friday
I left work a few hours early today, so Curtis and I could celebrate our Valentine’s Day! I loved the pretty red color and the pattern on this tunic…it’s seriously so perfectly festive! This is such a great casual day at work outfit that transitions easily into a casual date night look! 💕
